Sergio Pirone skills in the field of Forest Fires and Civil Protection comes from 38 years of service at various levels and ranks in the regional Forest Fire Corp, up to the rank of Inspector General (General Brigadier OF-7, ret.), currently Director of the Mountain Forest Fire Fight & Civil Protection Advanced Training Centre, Ground Operation Commander Senior Officer.
He has operated and commanded several campaigns and events on Forest Fires, Floods, Earthquakes, various meteorological events (Snow, wind, storm, hydrogeological instability...), human and animal health, mountain and river rescue,etc. in Italy and EU States.
